Interphex Asia 2005: A grand success

Nearly 2,200 pharmaceutical professionals from in around the Asia-Pacific. Manufacturing experts and industry regulators from both multinational and regional pharmaceutical manufacturers in the region. Overall, 31 countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Australia and the United States participated in Interphex Asia 2005, according to official estimates.

Interphex Asia 2005 also incorporated the annual ISPE Singapore Conference, jointly organised by Reed Exhibitions and ISPE since 2000. The 2005 Conference featured industry professionals and regulators, including the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Philippines Bureau of Food & Drugs, IMS Health, and Singapore's Health Sciences Authority, covering key issues relating to API, Secondary and Biotech manufacturing through a comprehensive programme of 4 workshops and 9 industry tracks.

The 5th ISPE Singapore Conference attracted more than 360 participants from 24 countries including Australia, India, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Interphex Asia 2005 occupied a total gross area of 3,900sq.m. with the participation of 145 international exhibiting companies from 23 countries. The 3-day exhibition showcased a wide variety of equipment, products and services related to the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, a technology forum where product presentations were held hourly as well as four national pavilions from Belgium, India, Singapore and USA.
